Progress of construction of Prey Preal Primary Scchool

Children in Prey Preal village of Battanban Province are studying at wooden block school made by villagers’ hands. Due to small size, only lower classes and students of upper classes are forced to go to different school located in other village. Villagers are strongly hoping construction of new school in order to improve such hard circumstances.
Progress of construction of Prey Preal primary school!
Schools are increasing only in the city but considering rural areas, schools are not yet enough in Cambodia. There are many cases that villagers themselves made hand-made school and voluntary villagers help “reading & writing” as temporally teachers. But if standard school of Ministry of Education in Cambodia is constructed, they can get official teachers from Ministry of Education and students can study from official teachers. Until now, GEJ constructed two primary schools, first is Slab Pang primary school and second is Rosei Ro school.
School construction is well in progress
Photo is Prey Preal School under construction which is half way complete. At the end of next April, beginning of second term, new Primary school will be full of smiles and laughter of children.
Progressing construction of Water ponds in the school!
According to School Standard of Ministry of Education in Cambodia, school must have water area in the school. However, there are no water sources and water well can not digged. Therefore we make water ponds and by using pump with filters, children can use for washing hands and legs, but cannot use for drinking. Photo is water ponds under construction.
